Dr. Lee worked in general practice for 10 years before moving into shelter medicine and spay/neuter.

Lee Ann Nix SnipWell Spay Neuter Fort Mill

Lee Ann’s passion for animal welfare began when she adopted her first rescue pet while in college. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2013 and began an internship with the local humane society. After moving to Charlotte to continue her nonprofit career, she decided to pursue a Master of Nonprofit Leadership and Management degree from Arizona State University, graduating in 2021. As the clinic manager for SnipWell, she gets to focus on every aspect of patient care, making her dream a reality. In her spare time she enjoys going on adventures with her 2 daughters, doing yoga, meditating, reading, and baking.

Angelia began her career as a registered veterinary technician in 2013. She graduated from the Gaston College veterinary technician program and completed an externship at a private veterinary hospital. Being an animal lover, she has always had a huge passion for being an advocate for the animals. Angelia has over 5 years experience in spay, neuter and wellness medicine and is a licensed technician in both South and North Carolina. She has adopted three fur babies, her kitties – Lana and Silous – and a handsome Akita mix – Kohle. Her hobbies include yoga, hiking, snowboarding, and rock climbing.

Jennifer’s love of animals started as a young toddler, as there were always animals in her home. She learned to care for them and continued that journey when she took her first job with animals at a local animal hospital. She then moved to a boarding facility to continue her career and, from there, she joined the SnipWell team in 2019. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys cooking, kayaking and hiking, and has many adventures with her precious dog Lumi.

Ana’s love for animals began when she was very young. From kindergarten through high school, she would often bring home strays and pet sit for family and friends. Animals have been an important part of Ana’s life as long as she can remember. She enjoys caring for them and has always been determined to have a career in the veterinary field. After high school, she met her husband and had two handsome boys. To stay close to animals, she volunteered at her local humane shelter and was eventually offered a position as a client services representative for the spay/neuter clinic. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, she transitioned to veterinary assistant. Her animal family consists of a small chihuahua named Tweetie, a pit bull named Dixie and her Great Dane named Ben. In her free time, she loves to spend time relaxing with her family and living life to the fullest.

Jessica always had animals growing up and it was this close relationship with them that developed her strong love for all animals. As a child, her family had dogs, cats, ferrets, and fish. She began her career with animals working at a boarding kennel/doggie day care in 2016 and has been in the pet industry ever since.
Jessica has two cats of her own, named Pippin and Phil Collins, as well as a leopard gecko, named Henry. In her free time, she is very involved in politics and activism. She also enjoys reading, knitting and listening to music or her favorite podcasts.

Cassie got her first dog Fluffy at the age of 7 and has loved animals ever since. She dove into the animal field at age 23, working for a boarding facility and has since transferred into veterinary medicine. Cassie currently has two rescue pets that she loves dearly, her adorable Pomeranian, Brodie, and her playful cat, Jasper. In her spare time, Cassie enjoys kayaking in the summer and traveling to the mountains in the fall.
